I founded Hodgetts Advisory to support construction-sector businesses whose commercial structure has not evolved at the same pace as their growth ambitions.

Many SMEs build strong operational capability and achieve impressive revenue growth, but over time commercial focus can become fragmented. Sales teams remain busy, market effort becomes diluted, and leadership teams often find themselves managing activity rather than driving strategic outcomes.

My work focuses on identifying and correcting this misalignment.

I bring experience from senior commercial leadership roles within the construction products sector, where I have led sales organisations, supported market expansion and operated across complex supply chains and specification led markets. This background allows me to approach businesses from an operator’s perspective; understanding how commercial strategy, leadership behaviour and market positioning must align to deliver consistent results.

Today I work directly with founders and leadership teams to help them regain clarity, refocus commercial effort and build the structure required for more predictable performance.
